Map 1

Dublin Property Locations

Unique property locations, the boundary formed by their outermost markers and the statutory County Dublin outline.

Map 2

Dublin routing keys

A separate outer-marker boundary for every Dublin routing key represented in the data.

Proof of concept

Areas with no recorded sales

Routing-key polygons with zero Property Register sales for County Dublin in the selected year. This uses complete routing-key boundaries rather than inferring empty areas from missing markers.

POC definition

An area is marked “No sales” only when its routing key exists in the boundary dataset and there are zero matching dbo.Property_Register rows for County Dublin in the selected year. This does not imply there are no homes in the area.

Market activity

Where home sales are limited

Routing keys are ranked by mapped residential sales in the latest rolling 12 months, using only locations inside the statutory County Dublin boundary.

How “limited sales” is calculated

Very limited means the routing key is in the lowest quarter of recent sales counts. Limited covers the next quarter. This measures transaction volume, not buyer demand, property supply or desirability. Routing keys that cross the county line include only their Dublin-side mapped sales. Previous-period changes are shown only when that period has enough records for a meaningful comparison.
